Army of the Dead | Review & Score

About: Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.

Zack Snyder's ARMY OF THE DEAD is one of the more entertaining outings to come out of the pandemic era. It's highly entertaining and features a great ensemble cast, including the extremely talented Dave Bautista. Bautista brings his subtle, charming aura to the big screen to fight off some wickedly intelligent zombies.

Some of the characters aren't sizable in development, but this is one of those films where that doesn't need to be a major talking point. It has a clever twist on the often formulaic zombie horror genre, held together in fairness to the cast, action, story and Bautista's entertaining turn.

So, if you're looking for a fun, charming, intelligent, action packed, with some nice wit... Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead is a film you wanna check out over on Netflix. Netflix doesn't always get it right with their original films, but this one is a definite exception. It's worth the time. I wish it would of had a bigger theater release, because it would have been a MONSTER hit.
