Where the Crawdads Sing | Review & Score

About: A woman who raised herself in the marshes of the Deep South becomes a suspect in the murder of a man with whom she was once involved with.

Powered by a strong central performance from Daisy Edgar-Jones, WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING is a triumph of complexity and strong deep south root storytelling that I want to see more of in cinemas. It has beautiful cinematography, atmosphere and is very well acted.

It's a great film with just about everything you could want in a movie, without having all the violence, gore and brashness of some other films coming along. It's pretty to look at and is just very well done.
