Deep Water | Review & Score

About: A well-to-do husband who allows his wife to have affairs in order to avoid a divorce becomes a prime suspect in the disappearance of her lovers.

I don't know what's more amusing... the plot of the movie or Ben Affleck playing a 'well-to-do husband trying to fix his divorce'. Both are humorous, that's for sure.

Ana De Armas is the best part about Adrian Lyne's Deep Water. De Armas doesn't get much help from a supporting cast, especially Affleck. This might be Affleck's most dull performance to date, and he's had quite a few in his career. But here, Affleck is outshined by his fellow co-stars on just about every level imaginable. Yikes.

De Armas is as charming as Melinda, the promiscuous wife of Affleck's character Vic. De Armas is literally the only good and bearable part of this dull thriller made for Hulu.

Unless you're a Ana De Armas or Ben Affleck fan, go ahead and skip this mess.
