Let's rank the Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror franchise...

I'm kidding, don't throw shade at me. It was a helluva polarizing line in one of the most legendary tales of terror. Whether it was being meta or just down right BRUTAL, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE has given us so much joy over the years. The slasher general LEATHERFACE has given us some moments in time where we chuckled at his antics or were terrified of what was to come next from him. Either way, he's a legend and deserves his respect and flowers.

With that, I will rank what I believe are the BEST of the franchise.

About: A California couple and a survivalist encounter Leatherface and his family.

OVERALL ANALYSIS

I was introduced to the franchise at a young age. When I was 10 years old, the remake of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, released into theaters. I didn't watch the film until it was released on DVD back around 2004. When I first saw it, I was horrified as a kid by it. I had never seen anything quite like it, but after seeing it, I started to think about it a lot and then it turned into a love fest for it. So, as I got older, I gradually started going back and watching the older films, including the original. I love slashers, so this was right up my alley. Ever since, I have revered this classic franchise as one of the most fun ones to watch. They're not all perfect, but I wouldn't have it any other way. They're delightfully creepy, gonzo and can be quite intense at times.

If you're a new horror/slasher fan, I highly recommend watching this franchise.
