"They're gonna make him do this 'til he's 90!"

I've been digesting this movie for over 24 hours as of this writing and I'm still at a loss for words.

I really love this movie. I mean, I don't know how else to really put it. I loved every second of it. From the opening sequence to the post-credits scene. DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE really did a lot of fan justice for both characters, and other characters along the way, while also introducing new characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Safe to say... it's Deadpool's Cinematic Universe now.

The opening sequence with Deadpool slaughtering some enemies while boy band *Nsync's smash hit 'Bye Bye Bye' playing and 'Pool just KILLING it with the dance moves in between the slaughter is one of the single best and entertaining things I have ever witnessed in cinema. And it got SO much better, funnier and more entertaining as the movie rolls on.

I loved the cameos in the film. Wesley Snipes returns as Blade, Jennifer Garner returns as Elektra. Dafne Keen returns as Laura (X-23), Chris Evans returns as Johnny Storm aka Human Torch from his stint in Fantastic Four (remember that one?), Channing Tatum debuted as Gambit, Tyler Mane returns as Sabretooth (from X-Men), Henry Cavill played a Wolverine variant, Blake Lively used her voice for Lady Deadpool (a Deadpool variant), Matthew McConaughey used his voice for Cowboy Deadpool (a Deadpool variant), Nathan Fillion used his voice for Headpool (a Deadpool variant).

My favorite cameos were Wesley Snipes as Blade and Channing Tatum as Gambit. Snipes has not lost a step playing Blade, he's still on point with the action and everything. He was awesome and a nice surprise. Tatum was funny and entertaining as hell playing Gambit. He fit right at home. Of course, Garner returning as Elektra was another beautiful touch. She kicked ass, per usual. Loved her appearance.

I loved the big fight sequence with Deadpool, Wolverine, Blade, Elektra, Gambit and Laura. That whole scene was really well done and entertaining. All the action sequences were done so well in this one. Not one was underwhelming or a let down at all. Everybody kicked ass and told a great story. I liked that Blade, Elektra and X-23 all had significant roles and story arcs. It made their pasts come together and get nice closure. I enjoyed that and it was well deserved.

The few fight scenes between Wolverine and Deadpool were bloody, gruesome and brutal as fuck.

The performances of both Ryan Reynolds and especially Hugh Jackman were well done. Jackman easily carried the film with his screen presence and his acting. There's a TON of different emotions you'll feel throughout the movie. But, all in all, Hugh Jackman was amazing. Reynolds is Reynolds. I mean, come on. Both of these guys were CREATED by their parents just to become these characters. Unbelievable.

I want to also commend the visual effects, sound mixing, soundtrack and cinematography behind Deadpool & Wolverine. Hats off to everyone involved and a job well done. Everything looked crisp, clean and refreshing. Like a good ol bottle of Sprite.

The finale was another thing I really liked and it really set the tone for what is possibly coming next in the Cinematic Universe. We don't know what the future holds, but the movie does a nice job of setting up something quite possible for the future of Deadpool and Wolverine's character. But, if this is indeed the end of Jackman as Wolverine, he went out with a thunderous arc that only Jackman can pull off.

I feel we will be seeing a lot more of Reynolds' Deadpool in future Marvel movies. I mean, he's officially apart of the universe now. We just have to wait and see what they're cooking up. He is indeed Marvel Jesus. Happy to have you on board, Mr. Pool.

All in all, Deadpool & Wolverine really made me happy and I'm sure it did justice for the characters in other Marvel fans' eyes as well as it did in mine. Wolverine had a gritty and charming sendoff. Reynolds welcomes himself into the Universe broadly. And we finally got the comic book Wolverine look we've been waiting AGES for. It's about damn time. How sharp was that? Yeehaw.

So, to end this. Let's all sit down, have a shot of Jack and fire up those Chimichangas, baby. WOOO!

Deadpool & Wolverine is funny, charming, heartfelt and a ton of fun. Go see it.
